¡Hola!
My name is Emijah Jones, I am a graphic design and Spanish graduate from the University of Northern Iowa (Class of 2026). I am an artist, illustrator, graphic designer, and small business owner.
I create work to promote dialogue and connection to personal experiences. Whether in my illustrative or design work, there is always an idea or moment meant to be explored, expressed, and shared with others. I create work that revisits moments – learning experiences, instances of bliss, grace, and reminders of past selves that have grown. As an artist first and a designer second, I am learning to allow both practices to influence the work that I create for myself and others. As I’m developing my design focus, I have a passion for typography, branding, and incorporating the bold watercolors of my paintings into the hex codes of Illustrator!
