Saul Bass Poster
Project Revamp
This poster design is a part of a revision project. The goal was to review an old design piece, evaluate its flaws, and redesign the piece with a new set of eyes. I decided to redesign an earlier Saul Bass poster.
Saul Bass helped lay the groundworks of graphic design before software such as Photoshop or Illustrator were a concept. Therefore, I wanted to combine the idea of Bass using an analog process that influences future graphic designers who use digital tools.
Sketches & Brainstorming
Saul Bass was known for his movie title sequences along with his angular style. With that, I wanted to explore the incorporation of different movie elements from his works, the analog tools he used, and a bit of illustration.

Timelaspe
A brief snippet of the illustration process using Adobe Fresco before transferring the work to Illustrator for additional textures, filters, and edits.
Original Design
This was the original poster that I redesigned. I created this piece during my sophomore year as it was an introductory
to design foundations.
I shifted from a magazine cover concept to a movie poster concept. Which aligns closer with Saul Bass' work and his impact.
